Breathwork is safe for most people when practiced in a guided, intentional way. It can bring up intense emotions or physical sensations, which is normal and part of the process. People with certain health conditions — like severe heart or lung issues, uncontrolled high blood pressure, pregnancy, or a history of seizures — should check with a medical professional before participating. I guide sessions carefully to create a safe, supportive environment, and you are always in control of your own experience. Any questions about this, feel free to reach out via the Contact tab.

Conscious connected breathwork helps release stored emotions, reduce stress, and clear mental tension. It increases energy, supports physical and emotional healing, and helps you reconnect with your body and inner guidance. Many people also experience greater clarity, presence, and a sense of freedom after a session. Listen, I know this sounds too good to be true. Trust me. It’s not. Try it.

Totally up to you. I find most people like about 1-2 times per month. But some people prefer to do it every chance they get. Every time you do it, it’s different. So I really encourage you to keep showing up and digging deeper.

In person or online you want to have a yoga mat to lie on. We don’t put pillows under the head because it constricts the airway. If it is in person, I will provide an eye mask for you to use (optional) if you are at home you can choose to use your own eye mask, an article of clothing or just close your eyes. If at home you need a quiet space without distractions. Aside from that, the only other thing you need is a willingness to put in a little effort and an open mind and heart.

I recommend taking it easy. Journalling is great. Walks, rest, good food, water etc. Just take care of yourself, this shit is hard.

Maybe. Everyone’s experience is different and every time you do it is different. If you are afraid of crying, then you should DEFINITELY come to class cause if you are sitting on all that emotion and not processing it, I promise you it is coming out sideways somewhere. Also remember, you are on your own mat with an eye mask on. No one can see or hear you. You’re safe.
